WIND RUNNERS
Gain the ultimate hunting advantage with Monarch Wind Runners. Use natural fibers from to Milkweed plant to check wind direction, detect thermals and approach your game from a direction to conceal your scent.
Deer and elk noses have several hundred million receptor sites compared to the 10 thousand in a human nose. Scent can be traced for days. If you are not entering and exiting your set-ups or stands with a wind plan, you are not doing it right.
WIND DETECTION - WIND CHECKER
Milk weed is nature's greatest wind checker. With roughly 200 seeds in a pod, their light fibers will float on any breeze. They dance on the current exposing rising thermals and wind direction. Release one and watch it reveal everything a hunter needs to know in order to make a successful approach and set-up. Unlike other products made from synthetic materials, Monarch Wind Runner are natural and have a positive affect on the environment.
HELP THE MONARCH WHILE YOU HUNT
Many of us know about the amazing journey of the monarch butterfly through the Americas. A generational migration that ends in Mexico. These butterflies rely exclusively on milkweed to lay eggs and support their young. Tragically, these travelers are now endangered. The 1990’s ushered in a change in farming, herbicides, pesticides and development that has wiped out milkweed and in turn the butterflies. Every time you check the wind with a Wind Runner, you are giving that seed a chance to grow and the Monarch Butterfly a to survive. You are doing the outdoors a favor. May you put the wind in your face and the big bucks and bulls on the ground.
ABOUT US
We're two blood brothers who grew up with a love for the outdoors and a passion for hunting. Our parents made neighboring homes in the countryside of New York State back in the 70's. As kids we spent most of our time running around the woods and pastures with homemade bows and arrows. We're still doing the same stuff today.
OUR MISSION
To provide a sustainable, environmentally friendly wind checker for scent concealment. To improve the big buck and bull elk experience for hunters and preserve the migration of monarch butterflies along the way: why not!
